Newsource 15 is a four-day-a-week, 30 minute newscast which airs on the University's cable system as well as on Charter Communications Cable. It is broadcasted live at 5:00 p.m., with a videotape rebroadcast at 10 p.m. The show reaches approximately 90,000 homes in three counties and is the only local newscast in the Athens area. Newsource 15 is formatted as a fast-paced commercial style news show aimed at a general audience.

While Newsource 15 is produced at Grady College and supported by its staff and faculty, it is an entirely student-produced news product editorially separate from the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
