This week, seven Advertising and Public Relations students in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication were selected to participate in the PHD Worldwide Media-Grady Program. PHD Worldwide, a global media and communications agency, was so impressed by the quality of Grady College's applicant pool and the excellence of the work presented by the Grady team last year that the firm selected seven students this year instead of just five.

These students will work for six months on a consumer insight project for PHD and will visit New York in March to present their findings to the agency and its clients.

Congratulations to JoAnn Anderson, Christabel Belonwu, Chelsea Franklin, Rebecca Hoerner, Lucas Holt, Asia Martin-Ingram and Stephanie Wright, who were selected to participate in the program. They will again be advised by Dr. Karen King of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations.

Participants from last year's program focused on Millennial consumer behavior and now work at media companies such as Media Storm, Yelp, Turner, ID Media and PHD.
