GSPA students welcomed more than 4,000 high school
journalism students and advisers from across the country to
the 2004 NSPA/JEA Fall Convention, held Nov. 18-21 at the
Hyatt Regency in Atlanta.

newsmagazine of Decatur High School, proudly show off the
numerous awards their publication won at the convention,
including the prestigious "Pacemaker" award from the National
Scholastic Press Association.

newspaper of Atlanta's Grady High School, show off their NSPA
and JEA awards. The Southerner also earned the "Pacemaker" award, one of just 23 high school newspapers from
across the country to receive the recognition.
