Tuesday, May 22

5 pm – Meeting with Dr. Branimir Stojkovic, head of the Journalism Department. Discussion of future collaboration between the Grady College and the BU Journalism Department.

6 pm – Teaching International Communication graduate class.

The topic of the class was Living in the future. Challenges of communication in the new media era.

Media are one of the most dynamic phenomena of our era. The new technologies have brought an extraordinary variety of communication avenues, and it is hard to anticipate what will happen in the near future. Some scholars suggest that media will disappear through their diversification and fragmentation. As communication professionals, you will face unprecedented challenges, but you will also have very exciting experiences.

Wednesday, May 23

10am – 12 pm – Individual meetings with journalism graduate students.

4pm – Meeting with Dr. Snjezana Milivojevic, co-director of the BECA partnership program. Discussion of new exchanges, workshops and research as a continuation of the collaboration.

Thursday, May 24

1 pm – Meeting with Fr. Vukasin Pavlovic, associate dean of the BU College of Political Science. Discussion of the journalism graduate curricula and of opportunities for funding of collaboration in the future.

Friday, May 25

1 pm – Final meeting with Drs. Snjezana Milivojevic, Vukasin Pavlovic and Branimir Stojkvic.
