Cox Center Scholarship Program
The Cox Center supports students in the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication through scholarships and graduate research assistantships. With Cox Center assistance, students have worked, traveled and studied abroad, participated in Center outreach activities and assisted with daily operation of the Center.

Whitney is a second year master's student pursuing a degree in journalism and mass communication with an emphasis in public relations, as well as a certificate of disaster management. She graduated from Berry College in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in public relations and business. She hopes to work in the emergency management field upon graduation.
When Whitney is not out enjoying all that Athens has to offer, she can be found volunteering at the American Red Cross East Georgia Chapter doing public relations work, singing in a local choir or learning to garden.
